Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a break from shoot from the past few months after wrapping the shoot of his last movie Kabali. The movie released recently and ended up as a decent grosser all over. The actor also wrapped up half the shoot of his next movie Robo 2.0 which is being directed by Shankar. The movie is the sequel for his super hit movie Robo and is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores. The regular shoot of Robo 2.0 will resume back from September 23rd and the movie will be shot in quick successions. The makers are in plans to wrap up Rajini’s part for the film first.
Amy Jackson is the female lead and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen as the antagonist in the film. AR Rahman is composing the music and Robo 2.0 will have huge dose of VFX effects. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the movie and the makers are in plans to release the first look of the movie during the third week of November. The movie will release during next year.
